Rich from Get Baked got in touch to get a t-shirt design made for a new line of merch for their Headingley store, as well as online. I know the Get Baked brand well, as they were a popular resort for puddings and baked goodness many years ago when I was a student in Leeds. They’ve had a revival in recent years and have a global following, due to their solid and honest branding, and larger than life sugary offerings (Their 24 layer chocolate Bruce cake is a marvel).

Rich gave me full artistic freedom, so I decided to focus on the business and create something linked to cakes and baking. Get Baked have a chaotic good vibe about them; honest and tasty treats served with a devillish knowing grin, which I feel mirrors my illustrative style nicely.
